Notes on the Human Condition

This blog is a space for reflection — part fieldwork, part meditation — on what it means to be human. Drawing on my work as a social anthropologist, psychotherapist, and yoga teacher, I write about the textures of everyday life: the emotional undercurrents of politics, the quiet rituals of care, the body as a site of wisdom and memory. You’ll find short essays that move between research and experience, practice and philosophy — from the post-industrial landscapes of Britain to the Blue Zones of the world, from the therapy room to the yoga mat.

Blog

This space is where my three practices meet: the insight of anthropology, the depth of psychotherapy, and the embodied awareness of yoga. Through words and images, I share reflections on the human condition — how culture, emotion, and the body shape our ways of being.
You’ll find fragments from my writing, glimpses of my retreats in Sardinia and Norfolk, and small invitations to pause: to breathe, notice, and return.
